Hi, my name is Joe and I go by "Woodtography" ( Woodtography - photos in woodhttp://www.woodtography.com )

I make jigsaw puzzles from gunpowder burns and pyrography (pic attached)

Gunpowder Jigsaw Portrait Puzzles.

Portraits burned into baltic birch using Winchester smokeless gunpowder layed out by hand onto the wood, ignited, then cut into a bunch of pieces...

The guy on the left is "Curly" who was General Custers scout.

The dollar bill is to show scale and the blades I use to cut these on the scroll saw is laying across the bottom.

Hope you like !

I also like to make miniature jigsaw puzzles from postage stamps. I do them on 1/2" thick hardwood so that they can stand up when assembled.

I also do fretwork as shown on my website Woodtography - photos in wood splash page.
